TAMING OUR ANGER
This group is for men who struggle to control their feelings of anger and frustration
  • Understand the impact of your anger on you and others
  • Learn where your anger is coming from
  • Recognize your anger before it controls and overtakes you
  • Learn skills and techniques to help you tame and manage your anger differently

Untamed it can cost us our jobs, friends, family and freedom
 
Do you feel you need help in Taming Your Anger?
We invite you to take a short sample of questions to help you decide if you need to work on taming your anger.
 
ANGER QUIZ:
  1. Do you engage in sarcasm, name calling, and/or cussing?
  2. Do you loose your temper or feel that you are close to loosing your temper at your workplace?
  3. Have you built up resentment and bitterness resulting in self sabotage and pain?
  4. Do you stuff your anger and feel stressed and anxious as a result?
  5. Do you use road rage when you are driving (that includes driving aggressively, using rude gestures and language, and making threats to other road users?
  6. Do you find that you have to defend yourself by saying "I'm not angry" when you are?
  7. Do you yell or raise your voice to get your point across?
  8. Do others tell you that you need to get help with your temper or rage?
If you have answered Yes to any of the above questions, you may need help Taming Your Anger!

GROUP ASSESSMENT:
Incoming group members are required to attend an assessment to ensure that group is the best fit at this time.
Individuals may be referred to attend individual sessions before attending or instead of attending group. All potential group members will be screened for drug and alcohol use, mental health concerns, domestic violence and overall ability to be appropriate in a group setting.

FEES:
Assessment fee is $20. Each group session after is $20 per session. Fees include all group material.

DURATION:
The group assessment can vary from 30 to 50 mins.
Group sessions are 90 minutes in length.
