Family Relief Services

Family Relief Services provides respite care to developmentally delayed children and adults. This program focuses on providing peer socialization, recreation, outings, and life skill development with the individual. As well, this program provides a respite opportunity for the caregiver. The individual will have an opportunity to experience a creative, compassionate program with peer interaction and recreation away from their home.

Family Relief Services for Adults are offered Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm from September ? June (with closures for 1 week over Christmas holidays and 1 week over March Break) and 4 weeks throughout July and August.

Family Relief Services for Children are offered Monday to Friday from 9:00am ? 4:00pm for 4 weeks throughout July and August and 1 week throughout March Break.

A small fee may apply for the summer camps and march break camps. This service is available to residents of Brantford and Brant County and is funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.
