Volunteer Board of Directors - Three Positions

The Family Counselling Centre of Brant, Inc. is a not for profit agency whose purpose is to offer professional services to individuals and families in Brantford and Brant County in Credit Counselling, Family Counselling, Developmental Services programs and Children’s Services programs

Leadership direction is provided by a volunteer Board of Directors and its committees. Members of the Board have a diverse range of skills and experience in the education, finance, social/health sciences, and business fields. Currently we are seeking four individuals who are interested in serving as volunteer Board members for a three year term. Citizens of Brantford and Brant County, who support the agency’s mission and have knowledge and/or skills in one or more of the following areas, are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of Board governance, policy, finance, strategic planning, human resources, marketing and communications
• Experience in working with volunteer boards, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to be a big picture thinker
• Ability to work collaboratively with fellow Board members and be knowledgeable about Family Counselling Centre of Brant programs, policies and services
